Vocal tuning in this day and age has become a necessary part of making your vocal track sound as professional as possible, regardless of how you feel on the hotly debated topic. Today's average listener has become accustomed to hearing pitch perfect vocal tracks. I can get your vocal tracks, no matter the style, to be perfectly in tune, or if you'd like, the T-Pain style of tuning's vocal effect. I use several different pieces of vocal correction software, plus some of my own tricks to get your vocals to sound perfect. Vocalists don't want to be tuned and engineers don't want to have to worry about tuning- they want to focus on the creative side of mixing. Transparency for these reasons is important, and no one understands this better than myself, a musician and engineer.
I manually tune all vocals...I DO NOT MACRO CORRECT JUST TO GET FINISHED FASTER. While I am definitely speedy using mainly Celemony Melodyne, I take the necessary time to get the most transparent sound possible with all vocals. $10 per lead vocal track...if you have more than one vocal that needs tuning, generally it will be one gig order per track. Frequently Asked Questions
What do you use to tune?
I mainly use Celemony's Melodyne as a tuning plug-in, although I am familiar with several others.
Do you macro-correct?
I normally DO NOT macro correct vocals. I take the time and effort to correct notes by hand, offering the most transparency in my tuning process.
