About this gig
I build API integrations in Python to pull data out of the systems your business runs on and move it where it needs to go. What I can build:
- A script that pulls data from an API into CSV, Excel, or a database
- A program to sync two systems by copying records from one to another
- A scheduled sync program deployed on AWS, with logging and retries
The deliverable can be either a command-line Python program or an AWS automation.
My past work includes a reusable migration toolkit for a legal CRM, which I've used for 9 client migrations. I also built a sync that let a college run its legacy student system and its replacement in parallel.
You get the full source code. You own it.
Not included: two-way or real-time syncs (I quote those separately), desktop apps, GUIs, Zapier or n8n workflows, front-end work, or languages other than Python.

Can you build a two-way or real-time sync?
Yes, but those are quoted separately. Message me with both systems and I'll send a custom offer.
What do you need from me to start?
API access for each system, a description of the data to move, and a few sample records.
Do you build Zapier or n8n workflows?
No. I write Python code, which can run on demand or be deployed to AWS.
How do you handle my API keys and data?
I'll ask you to create a key with only the access the job needs, so you can revoke it when we're done. After the order is complete, I delete your data, code and credentials.
Are you willing to sign an NDA?
Yes. I'm happy to sign a reasonable NDA before you share sensitive data.
