Worked as an SEO consultant for a US-based local and e-commerce bookstore, responsible for building a complete SEO ecosystem from the ground up. At the start of the engagement, the business had no backlinks, no indexed pages, no keyword rankings, and no local search visibility. Led the SEO process end-to-end, including technical SEO setup, keyword research, content strategy, authority backlink acquisition, content distribution, and local SEO optimization. The primary objective was to establish strong organic and local visibility while creating a scalable SEO foundation. Key challenges included starting from zero authority, competing in a highly competitive retail niche, and achieving fast indexing and trust signals. These were addressed through a structured content plan, high-quality authority backlinks, large-scale image optimization, and strategic content distribution to accelerate indexing and visibility. Additionally, managed Google Business Profile optimization, executed local SEO campaigns, supported PR and event-related visibility, and maintained healthy backlink diversity through ongoing quality control. Within six months, the project achieved thousands of indexed keywords, strong authority growth, and top rankings both locally and globally, including #1 local positions for key bookstore-related searches. The business successfully transitioned from zero visibility into a competitive presence across both local and global search results.
