Hey, I do model 3d/2d objects. I can do all kind of modeling from a small tool like a nail to bigger object like cars .
Mostly, there is two kind of modeling. Solid - These models define the volume of the object they represent (a rock). These are more realistic but more difficult to build. hell/boundary - these models represent the surface, e.g. the boundary of the object, not its volume ( an infinitesimally thin eggshell). These are easier to work with than solid models. Almost all visual models used in games and film are shell models.
