I will professionally play and record sax to your music, most genres

About this gig
Hi! My name is Isaiah Venegas, I'm a professional saxophonist from the Los Angeles area (Ventura County to be exact). I've been playing for 29 years, and jazz-trained. Faith, Soul & Passion is my mantra. My forte is improvisation. Currently, I tour with artists Cota the Barber & Johnny David, & I play for a KC & the Sunshine tribute. I'm listed as an R&B/Soul sax player, but I can play almost just about any genre. I prefer moderately bright & edgy tones on both saxes, with lots of attitude. However, I'm also versatile with my tone & I can go a dark & subdued route. I've been featured on numerous recordings. I'm open to recording anything from Smooth Jazz, Funk, Gospel, Worship, Latin Jazz, Cumbias, Latin Rock, Blues, Classic R&B, Classic Soul, 90's R&B, Pop, Trap, Hip-Hop, Neo-Soul, and some Country. If you're a student looking for a sax on your project, contact me and I'll work with you.

What can I do with your recording?
You have full rights with my recording. If its for a major label release, hits the charts or sells many copies, I simply ask that I receive some royalties. That can be discussed later prior to release.
Will I receive your recording mixed and mastered?
Surely, you will received my recording fully edited & tuned. With respect to your producer and/or mixer, I will only apply very light EQ & compression work. But if you really want me to send you fairly processed recording, I will.
What if I want you to record a horn section part & not a solo?
I can do that too, I'll simply charge you the basic package. I would like charts if they're available, and let me know if the track is set to a fixed tempo or a floating tempo, that way I know if I need to provide only one small part or the full-length recording.
Is your recording chain analog or digital?
Both. There is an analog mic-pre and compressor before my interface input.
