About this Gig
Experienced professional who loves all things writing, reading and bookish. Having someone Beta Read a book is a great way to get a third-party perspective from an avid reader and your target audience. I will provide an honest and authentic 1 page Read Report of your work that will provide details on the following items:
- Overall strengths and weaknesses of the work.
- First Impressions and general readability.
- Who I believe to be the target audience.
- How does the writing make me feel?
- How is the pace of the writing?
- How do I feel about these characters?
- Is the plot cohesive?
- Is the world authentic and true to the characters? Is it immersive? Does it need more or less detail?
If your work is greater than 100K words, please contact me for a custom quote; I would still love to work with you. I love reading all sorts of genres and styles, and I am very flexible. Please consider adding the "Follow Up" option to the gig in order to make sure your needs are met once you have the Reader Report in your hands.

It was a great experience to work with Paige. She was willing to schedule ahead for beta reading my large manuscript and responded to my questions and comments quickly. Her report was concise and included valuable information and reader thoughts, categorized in deeper detail than I'd expected. I recommend her for anyone wanting a professional beta read.
