About this Gig
I am offering my services to querying authors looking to obtain a literary agent. I was a Junior Literary Agent with Belcastro Literary Agency and have successfully been through the query trenches twice myself. I have also interned with CMA, Inc. (Creative Media Agency, Inc.) & ArtHouse Literary.
I will:
- Provide feedback on your query letter, synopsis, or first chapter with suggestions for edits
- Help you brainstorm ways to hook an agent while being concise
- Check for flow/readability
- Make sure the stakes in your story shine through your materials while being concise
Having a second pair of eyes to look over your submission materials is sometimes just what your book needs! I would be an outsider looking into your book, allowing me to tell you what's working and what isn't.
Please note that I will NOT write any material for you. I also do not edit AI created stories nor do I use any AI to edit! All edits are done by me.
I have helped over 200 authors and counting go from zero requests to partials/fulls all the way to landing representation and more. I would love to help!

Her feedback definitely improved the quality of my query package. However, I sometimes wished that the comments were more actionable and detailed. Overall, great experience.
