About this Gig
As a writer myself, I know how hard it is to find good beta-readers. I have a deep interest in upmarket fiction, memoir, romance, and low fantasy. I will happily read your piece, provide my feedback at a high-level as well as provide more itemized feedback.
Itemized feedback may contain:
- POV Level - If you may want to try writing from a different POV or errors in your POV.
- Sensitivity - If you have parts of your piece which you may want to do further research on to avoid offending others.
- Character - I will tell you how your characters come off and inconsistencies in their actions.
- Plot - I will point out plot holes or problematic choices.
- More - if you have a specific area of concern, I am happy to read from that POV as well.
Please note, while I do have fairly good grammar, I am not the best person to choose for proofreading. I am great for high-level notes and ideas.
