The monistic belief is that we are all one. The law of attraction also suggests that we mirror each other because we are connected to each other on a spiritual plane of existence. The Hawaiian practice of Ho'oponopono is based on the belief that any issues that arise in our life are caused by memories. In Buddhism they might call those samskaras. Our issues are because we're not at zero: seeing the world from the highest perspective (through the eyes of God/source). Ho'oponopono says we are connected and if you are facing an issue, and enter into my life, I am working on the same issue, I have the same memory/samskara to clean. 

When I heal the issue through Ho'oponopono cleaning, it is cleaning up the memory in all of mankind. Dr. Hew Len healed an entire ward of psychiatric patients without ever meeting with them individually using this method. You may look up the story online and there are videos of him on YouTube.
