I have been playing and teaching the guitar professionally for over 10 years, and have achieved some honorable accomplishments in the music industry. Aside from the hands on experience I have in the music industry, I furthered my education by studying with Berklee College of Music. I have taught hundreds of students over the years and some are now professional musicians. Whether you are just starting out on guitar or are an advanced player... What do you use to teach your online guitar lessons?
I do the lessons on Skype or Zoom and will send you a link to the virtual room before our lesson.
What skill levels do you teach?
I teach beginners to advanced. Whether you've been playing for years or have never played before, I will make sure you come out of the lesson having learned something new.
What do you teach in your guitar lessons?
I teach a variety of subjects relating to guitar: chords, strumming patterns and rhythms, reading charts, technique, music theory, different voicings, scales and modes, gear talk and tone, phrasing, soloing and playing musically. Whatever you want to learn!
How do you start our lessons?
Just put in the order and we will schedule a time to do our lesson!
Should I have anything prepared for our first lesson?
You don't need to have anything prepared for a lesson. Usually I perform some tests to see where you are exactly with your learning. Then I will correct any bad habits or teach things you may have missed along the way. Nothing is required for your first lesson!
What is your cancellation policy?
I understand that sometimes things come up. 12 hour notice must be given to the instructor before the scheduled lesson time; otherwise, the student will be charged for the missed lesson. If you have to change your lesson time for one week, please let me know ASAP.
