Hi there,
I'm Bree, an NYU graduate who created my own major centered around speculative fiction. I'm a former editorial assistant and the founder of a science fiction and fantasy blog, The Angry Noodle. I primarily specialize in fiction, particularly science fiction, fantasy, and horror, but am open to other projects as well.
I will:
- Provide constructive feedback on your short story or manuscript, delving into everything from the plot to the characters to the worldbuilding, and help you develop your story to satisfaction.
- Using Word track changes to edit your manuscript or short story, making suggestions to improve tone, dialogue, consistency, and pacing.
- Send you an editorial letter detailing everything that is working and any suggestions for improving the broader aspects of the piece.

FAQ
How does this work?
All you have to do is provide your piece and tell me anything you want me to focus on in particular. I will send you two documents: the first is your piece with track changes and any comments. The second is an editorial letter providing broader constructive criticism on the piece.
Anything I should know about you?
I am not big on the idea that "constructive criticism" means "destroy the writer to make them better." I like to sprinkle in comments about things I really liked. While most comments will be suggestions, there will be the occasional random, "I love that you did this, this line is great...", etc.
My word count isn't much higher than my preferred tier. Can I order anyway, or would I need to upgrade?
No problem! If you're as little as about 500 words over than the short story tier, for example, don't worry about it. Just pick that one. =)
You mention only Word docs. Do you accept Google Docs as well?
Yep, feel free to send me whichever one you're most comfortable with. As long as I can track changes, we're good to go.
Do you do genres other than speculative fiction (scifi, fantasy, horror)?
I'm open to most genres, though I mostly specialize in spec fic! Please see the below question for any genres I may not be the right choice for.
Are there any genres you won't accept?
I do not accept biographies, memoirs, cookbooks, religious, self-help/motivational, or children's. Sorry, friends. I want to give you my best work and I just don't feel I'm the best fit for these.
My word count doesn't really fit any of your tiers. Can I do a custom order?
For sure! If, for example, you have a long short story (higher than 5,000 words but much lower than 35,000 words), we can most definitely do it as a custom order.
Can I submit multiple stories and add up to the word count?
Please don't do this. I write an editorial letter for each and every story submitted, so I would prefer you submit separate projects separately. If your word count is in a weird space where you'd be paying way too much, reach out and I am happy to set up a custom order.

love it and love the feedback even more! the graphic novel is target to 12 years old and older but i change some wording so it doesnt sound so "heavy metal". And yeah i will try to make the secondary characters be more involve in the story and be important to the main character. Thank you!!!
