Before updating the installation, there are a couple of steps always required to be taken. Those steps help us ensure that the update wouldn't cause any problems to the site; therefore, seeking help from a WordPress professional could be the right choice.
I'll not only update your installation, but will also update all of your plugins and theme to the latest version. This practice not only adds reliability to the site, but also ensures great performance and security.
You may also check some of my GIG extras found with this GIG. Those extras offer some additional services e.g making fixes to your WordPress site, or setting up a new WordPress installation.
Happy ordering :)
WordPress Maintenance and Updates
I'll update your WordPress to the latest version along with updating your theme and plugins.
Yes, I always make a back up of the WordPress site before I start working on it. So that in case if something happens, I would simply restore the back up.
The least information I would require from you in order to start working would be your WordPress administrator log in credentials. Additional information you can provide are your FTP or cPanel Login credentials. However, I would always ask you afterwards for these credentials if the need arises.
It depends, if you require a new WordPress installation to be made using a template/demo of an existing WordPress theme, it usually takes 3 business days.
