Maintains the Local Area Network for Alltel, then AT&T Mobility in Northern New Mexico, Southern Colorado, and All of Utah. Keeping all pc’s, printers, network equipment, etc. up and running at all times. Assistance to users when they need help in any application, including Microsoft Office, Billing Systems, programming software, etc. The group that I’m a part of covers the whole western United States, containing over 10,000 pc’s. March 7th, I was part of a mass “surplus/layoff” from AT&T Mobility as a result of the company moving more towards A.I. systems and basically forced into early retirement.

Maintained the Local Area Network comprised of 90 PC’s, 12 Network printers, and additional equipment for approximately 120 users in the northern half of New Mexico. Furthermore, maintains the Customer Billing System connection to Tandem database in Pennsylvania and database reporting systems therein. Works closely with the IT Dept in Albuquerque to insure that the network is constantly up and running for seven cities in the Northern Area. Duties within include setting up of network accounts, email, Internet access, troubleshooting, configuration, building, and inventory of all components of the network from Local Area Networks down to printers and such. Additional calls for help and assistance have come from other parts of the state as well.
