About This Gig

Do you want to give some Hip Hop flavor to your track? Best way to do it is by adding scratching. I'll work with you to get the sound and phrasing you're looking for.

I'll record a single WAV High Quality file (24 bits / 48kHz or your required specs) and send it ready to be synced and mixed in. For the Multitrack Overdubs package, I'll send individual audio files for each Overdub, all of them pre-balanced for ease of mixing.

Feel free to contact me with any inquiries you have before placing your order.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What kind of sounds can be used for the Simple Scratch package?
I have an ample library of DJ records for scratching, including classic sounds like AAAAH and FRESH. If you're looking for something more specific I might be able to find it, but for harder to find sounds sounds or samples from other sources, you should go for the Custom Sample package.
  • What kind of sounds can be used in the Custom Sample package?
Pretty much anything you can think of, like a recording of your voice, an instrument in your track, a phrase from the track's vocals, a sound you've found in a record, etc. Keep in mind you'll have to provide the sound sources you'd like me to use. Sample searching has a separate charge.
  • What are Overdubbed Scratches?
Overdubbing is when you record multiple takes from the same instrument arranged so they work together. Think of a band of DJs phrasing off each other.
