About This Gig

I will take my 30 plus years playing live & studio drums in places like Abbey Road and for Don Felder of 'The Eagles' and pour it into ur songs. I believe being a drummer AND a songwriter gives me a unique insight into drumming, allowing me to focus on THE SONG and leaving space to let the vocals, the most important feature of the song - shine. I will focus on feel and groove but also providing dynamics to help take you and you songs to the next level.

I don't believe a musician can be all things to everyone, so I focus on what I'm best at - groove music. This suits Singer Songwriters, genres like pop, indie and funk. Please don't hire me for gigs outside these areas and contact me if you are unsure if i can do my best for you.

The way I like to work is - together. If you can point me to a sample track, which you think demonstrates how your drums could sound, then thats great, if you have no reference points thats fine too.

All packages you need to purchase your songs length worth of mins. My basic package you receive an Mp3 of stereo drums, Package 2 addition of percussion and package 3 you get studio quality Mixing and EQ and Hi Rez files.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why don't you have many customer already?
I have just started working on Fiverr in November 2016
  • How will I know I will get a drum track I am happy with?
You give me a sample track you think is like the style of drumming you like and you provide me with any ideas for parts you can already feel for your song.
  • What equipment do you use?
I own an acoustic and digital drum kit. Anyone who has worked in studios will tell you how hard it is to get a great recorded drum sound. I own sound libraries of drum kits recorded in the best studios in the world by the worlds best engineers. I then trigger these amazing samples from my digit kit
  • Won't these triggered samples sound like a machine?
No, the exact opposite, when they make these libraries every nuance of the sound of a kit is captured. When I play my digital kit triggering these samples it just sounds like I'm playing amazing pro top quality studio recorded drum kit.
  • Why would I want percussion as well as drums?
For decades percussion has supported drums rhythmic abilities. Percussion can help give a deeper groove (listen to any Motown track), shakers giving a track top end sparkle, tambourines a tempo lift or stronger back beat and congas a more complex rhythm without dominating too much space in the mix
  • Why would I want the drums EQ'd and mixed, shouldn't they sound great anyway?
Yes they will sound great anyway, but anyone familiar with recording will know drums need processed and EQ'd even once they are recorded amazingly. You want them to sit in the mix nice, top end to sparkle without being harsh and the bottom to be punchy and warm without being flappy.
