I write firmware for custom embedded hardware ESP32, STM32, and other microcontrollers from bring-up on a bare board through to working, tested code.

What I do:

Why it matters that I design hardware too:

Most firmware problems aren't firmware problems. They're a floating pin, a missing pull-up, an unstable supply rail, or a peripheral wired to the wrong port. I design PCBs as well as write code, so when your board misbehaves I can read the schematic and tell you whether the fix belongs in software or in hardware instead of guessing for days.

I work in C and C++, deliver clean commented source you own, and test on real hardware rather than simulation.

My background is industrial hardware engineering, including an NFC-based IoT product I took from schematic through firmware to working hardware and full documentation.
