Hello!
I am a near 20 year experienced AV and low-voltage system design engineer with extensive experience in design development, system design, engineering management, and QAQC.
This gig would allow me to take that experience and translate it into your next project, whether that be for your home, business, clients, or even enterprise needs. I've traveled around the world working in all sorts of locations and installation types. Everything from your basic conference room to performance halls to ultra high-end residences to secure locations. I bring a level of experience that is usually reserved for large integration and MEP firms, without their price tags.
What I would like to offer is a chance to design your project or to partner with you as a consultant to review an existing project. It can be about design, acoustics, signal flow, or even just to validate the designs of others and to create a narrative to better understand the scope.
Ultimately, I want to be your technological resource for all things audiovisual and low-voltage.

Do you have certifications in the audiovisual field?
Yes, I have well over a hundred manufacturer and vendor certifications. As well as two industry specific certifications that are given through an international standards organization known as AVIXA. These are Certified Technical Specialist (CTS) and Certified Technical Specialist - Install (CTS-I).
What software do you use for your drawings?
I use Stardraw primarily for my designs, but also have AutoCAD. Additionally, I utilize Bluebeam REVU for PDF markups and collaboration. At this time, I do not use Revit.
Do you work with anything other than AV?
Yes, I also work with what is referred to as "low-voltage" systems. These include surveillance, access control, structured cabling, intrusion systems, etc.
