Writing a short film script is an art unto itself, and the skills required can be as varied as the purpose of the short film you intend to produce: a short film can be a stand-alone story, an experimental art piece, a proof-of-concept for a feature, an individual entry in a themed anthology, a single installment in a serialized story, or anything else a filmmaker can imagine.
My award-winning short film work has screened at festivals all around the world, including at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival, and has drawn praise from "American Gods" and "Sandman" creator Neil Gaiman, "Umbrella Academy" creator Gerard Way, comic book legend Grant Morrison, and "Begotten" and "Shadow of the Vampire" director E. Elias Merhige.
I will write the script for your 5, 10, or 15 minute live-action or animated short film based on your specific needs, story, and characters.

What is included in a round of revisions?
Changing the structure of the story, reworking large sections... major changes. Minor tweaks don't count as a round of revisions - small changes to dialogue, reworking an individual scene - and I am even happy to work with you on those beyond the completion of our contract, time permitting.
Will you adapt an existing work in another medium for the screen?
Absolutely, I've done it before! However, keep in mind if it isn't in the public domain and you don't have the rights, you won't be able to monetize it. I recommend a custom gig for adaptations, as I may need to factor in research time and materials if I am unfamiliar with the source material.
Are you okay working as a ghostwriter and not receiving any credit?
Under the right circumstances, yes, but I always like to discuss these things ahead of time to make sure everyone's expectations are clear, so let's make sure we cover the details of this in a thorough fashion before we lock in the gig!
