What does "process description only" mean in the BASIS package?
You receive the documented processes for documentation & communication, change management, asset management, and risk management—covering workflows, roles, responsibilities, and interfaces. Populating the content (asset register or the assessed risk register) is part of the STANDARD package.
Is my company ready for certification with the BASIS or STANDARD package?
No. BASIS lays the foundation, while STANDARD covers planning and risk management. You achieve certification readiness with PREMIUM, or by supplementing STANDARD with the missing components and an internal audit.
Is the project conducted entirely remotely?
Yes. All workshops, reviews, and audits take place via video conference, and documentation is delivered digitally. On-site appointments are not included in the offer.
How long does it take to obtain the certificate?
Depending on size and readiness to implement, mostly be completed in 3 months. In larger organizations, it might be 18 months—or if prioritized low, it might not be feasible. Companies with up to 500 employees (single location), successfully completing the process in 3 month should always possible.
Why does my quote cost more than the price list indicates?
The listed prices apply to companies with up to 500 employees and one location. An additional 10% is added for every additional 100 employees and every additional location. Example: 620 employees at 2 locations results in a 30% increase.
Do you issue the certificate yourself?
Consulting services are not permitted to certificate the same ISMS. This is done by indepently authorities. I`ll prepare your ISMS for the certification audit. If I`m auditing for certification, I can put you in touch with consultancies for similar prices and similar competence.
What is included in the certification fee?
The fee charged by the certification body for a standard scope covering up to 500 employees at a single location. For a larger scope, the certification body will provide a separate quote, and the difference in cost will be passed on transparently.
Do you offer a guarantee of successful certification?
I guarantee complete, audit-ready documentation and an internal audit that demonstrates readiness for certification. The audit outcome itself is determined by the independent certification body and depends primarily on the willingness of your company operating the ISMS to implement the measures.
