Do I need to give you my server password
No passwords. You add my SSH public key to your VPS, or create a temporary sudo user for me. I send you the key after the order starts, and you remove my access the moment the handover is signed off.
I don't have a VPS yet. Can you recommend one?
Yes. For most n8n workloads a 2 vCPU / 4 GB Ubuntu server is plenty. Hetzner, DigitalOcean and Contabo all work well. Tell me your expected volume and I'll size it before you spend anything.
Will my existing workflows and credentials be moved over?
Yes. If you're on n8n Cloud or another server, I migrate workflows, credentials and execution history. Add the migration extra and send me the export or the old server's access.
What happens when a new n8n version comes out?
Your runbook has the exact upgrade command and a rollback step, so you can update in a couple of minutes. If you'd rather not touch it, the monthly care plan extra covers me doing it for you.
Is my data safe on my own server?
That's the point of self-hosting. Workflows, credentials and customer data stay on infrastructure you own and control, encrypted at rest, with no third party holding the keys.
Do you build the workflows too?
I do. This gig covers the server. If you want the automations built on top, such as lead capture, CRM sync, AI scoring or WhatsApp flows, message me and I'll quote them separately.
