About this Gig
Welcome! I'm a professional double beta reader ready to help improve your manuscript before publication.
Do you need honest, constructive manuscript feedback? I'll review your story for pacing, plot, characters, structure, clarity, consistency, and reader engagement.
As your cozy mystery beta reader, I'll assess clues, suspense, red herrings, twists, and atmosphere. As a romance beta reader, I'll review chemistry, emotional development, conflict, relationship pacing, and your happily, ever-after.
My beta reader fantasy service covers world-building, magic systems, character arcs, and plot clarity. I also offer an alpha reader perspective for early drafts and a detailed reader's report with strengths, weaknesses, and practical revision suggestions.
You'll receive honest feedback, helpful notes, and actionable recommendations to make your story stronger and more enjoyable.
I accept cozy mystery, romance, fantasy, thriller, young adult, and contemporary manuscripts. Your work will remain confidential.
Message me with your genre and word count before ordering. Let's make your manuscript impossible to put down!

FAQ
What genres do you beta read?
I beta read romance, mystery, fantasy, young adult, contemporary fiction, and other fiction genres. Please contact me before ordering if your manuscript belongs to a highly specialized genre.
What does beta reading include?
I read your manuscript from a reader’s perspective and provide honest, constructive feedback on plot, pacing, characters, dialogue, emotional impact, clarity, engagement, and overall reader experience
Do you provide editing or proofreading?
No. Beta reading focuses on story feedback rather than correcting every grammar, spelling, or punctuation error. Please order an editing or proofreading service if you need line-by-line corrections.
Do you offer alpha reading?
Yes. Alpha reading is usually completed at an earlier stage, such as during outlining or when the first draft is incomplete. I can provide feedback on story ideas, characters, plot direction, and early chapters.
Will you rewrite my manuscript?
No. I will not rewrite your story, but I will provide practical suggestions to help you identify areas that may need improvement.
What will I receive after the beta read?
You will receive a reader report containing detailed feedback, strengths, concerns, and revision suggestions. Inline comments may be available depending on the package selected
Can you beta read a complete novel?
Yes. Don't hesitate to get in touch with me before ordering if your manuscript exceeds the word count included in your selected package.
Is my manuscript kept confidential?
Yes. Your manuscript and personal information will be treated as confidential and will not be shared or published.
Will you only give positive feedback?
I provide honest but respectful feedback. My goal is to help you improve the manuscript while recognizing its strengths and protecting your creative vision.
