What are Spotify's Canvas requirements?
Spotify accepts a 3 to 8 second vertical 9:16 video between 720 and 1080 pixels tall. I deliver a 1080x1920 MP4 that meets these specs, so you can upload it straight away.
How do I upload my Canvas?
Open your song in Spotify for Artists, choose Canvas and upload the MP4. You need access to the artist profile in Spotify for Artists. If you get stuck, message me and I will walk you through it.
Do I need a layered PSD file?
A layered PSD gives the best depth and motion. If you only have a flat PNG or JPG, I can still animate it, though the effects will be simpler. Send me your file before ordering and I will tell you what is possible.
Will my song play in the Canvas?
No. Spotify plays your track itself, so the Canvas is delivered without audio. I keep the motion as a smooth loop that matches the mood of your song.
Can I also use it on TikTok and Instagram?
Yes. The vertical loop works for TikTok, Instagram Reels and Stories. For a square motion cover for Instagram posts or Apple Music, add the Motion Cover extra.
Can you design my cover art too?
Yes. Add the Album Cover Art extra and I will design your cover first, then animate it into your Canvas.
