What file formats do you accept?
I primarily work with STL files, but I can also accept OBJ and existing 3MF files that need recoloring or re-slicing. If you're unsure whether your file will work, just send it over and I'll check it before you order.
Which Bambu Lab printers is the 3MF file compatible with?
I can configure your file for the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon, X1E, P1S, P1P, A1, and A1 Mini. Just let me know which printer you own when you place your order so I can select the correct machine profile in Bambu Studio.
Can I request a specific layer height, infill percentage, or print speed?
Absolutely. If you have preferences for layer height, infill pattern, wall count, or print speed, just include them in your order requirements. If you're not sure, I'll choose the best settings for your model type and intended use.
How do you handle models with many small color details?
Complex models with many small color zones, like multicolor anime figurines or detailed cosplay prop STL files, take more time to paint accurately. I use Bambu Studio's brush and smart fill tools to isolate each region cleanly so colors don't bleed across faces. For highly detailed models I recomm
What if my STL file has mesh errors or bad geometry?
Before I start coloring I always run a mesh repair and STL file fix for Bambu Studio compatibility. Minor issues like small holes, non-manifold edges, or inverted normal I fix at little charge. If the model has severe geometry problems that would require full reconstruction, I'll notify you asap
Can you color a model I found on Thingiverse or Printables?
Yes, as long as the model's license allows for personal use STL modification and multicolor remixing, I can color any model you've legally downloaded. Just share the file or the download link with me. If the model is licensed for personal use only, the colored 3MF I deliver is for your own printing
Why should I hire you instead of doing it myself?
Bambu Studio's multicolor tools are powerful but have a steep learning curve — especially getting the AMS purge settings, wipe tower, and color transitions for clean multicolor FDM prints dialed in correctly. Most new Bambu owners waste significant time and filament on failed first attempts.
How will I receive the finished file?
