FAQ
What is the difference between SRS, PRD and BRD?
A BRD explains the business need and goals. A PRD describes the product, its users and features. An SRS details how the software must behave for developers and testers. Not sure which you need? Message me and I will recommend one.
Can you document a software idea that has not been built yet?
Yes. Early ideas are a great time to define requirements. I structure your concept into clear goals, scope and requirements, and list any decisions you still need to make as open questions.
Will the document be suitable for developers?
The document is written so developers can understand what to build, with clear requirements and, in higher packages, user stories and acceptance criteria. It does not include technical architecture or code design.
What information do I need to provide?
Your project idea, goals, intended users, main features and any existing notes, screenshots or documents. The more context you share, the more accurate the requirements will be.
What formats will I receive?
You receive a professionally formatted PDF and an editable Word (.docx) document, so you can share it or keep updating it.
Can you include user stories, diagrams and acceptance criteria?
Yes. Standard includes user stories, acceptance criteria and one simple diagram. Premium adds priorities, edge cases, traceability and up to two simple diagrams. Extra diagrams are available as an add-on.
Are revisions included?
Yes. Basic includes 1 revision, Standard 2 and Premium 3. Revisions cover corrections and clarifications within the agreed scope. New features or a different document type count as new scope.
Does this gig include software development?
No. This gig covers requirements documentation only. It does not include coding, technical architecture, legal review or compliance certification.
