I will develop a custom chrome extension or browser addon

About this gig
I build custom browser extensions for Chrome, Edge, Brave, and Firefox using the modern Manifest V3 standard. If you need to add custom functionality, automate tasks, or modify web pages, I can build it.
What you get:
- A fully working extension plus the complete source code.
- Clean, documented code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) that you can easily maintain.
- Complete architecture: Popup UI, background service workers, and content scripts.
- API integration: Secure communication with external APIs, databases, or AI models if needed.
Common use cases I can handle:
- Productivity & Workflow tools: Custom automation directly inside your browser.
- Page modifiers: Adding custom buttons, sidebars, or layout changes to specific websites.
- Data collectors & Scrapers: Extracting on-screen information to save your time.
- Specialized assistants: Tailored extensions for Gmail, LinkedIn, or internal company dashboards.
- Manifest V3 migration: Updating your old Manifest V2 extension to meet the latest requirements.
I work asynchronously and communicate in writing. Please message me before placing an order to discuss your project requirements and technical feasibility first.

FAQ
Which browsers do you support?
Chrome and Edge for sure (both use Manifest V3). Firefox support depends on the extension - most work, but some Chrome-specific APIs like chrome.identity don't have Firefox equivalents. Tell me your target browser when ordering.
Can the extension interact with a specific website I use?
Yes. Content scripts can read and modify any page you have access to. Just tell me the site and what you want the extension to do there.
Will the extension work after Chrome updates?
I build with Manifest V3, which is the current standard Google requires. Extensions built on MV3 are stable long-term.
Do you need access to my Google or browser account?
No. You install the extension yourself from the ZIP file I deliver. I never need access to your browser or accounts unless you separately order the Chrome Web Store publishing extra.
Can the extension call external APIs or send data to my server?
Yes, that's a standard use case. Include the API details when you order and I'll wire it up.
