Give your work a clear, professional home online. I will build a responsive portfolio website for researchers, academics, freelancers or other professionals using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
I created my own research portfolio, bringing publications, projects, training and professional experience together in one consistent design.
Your website can include an About section, project cards, a publication list, qualifications, a downloadable CV and links to your professional profiles. You supply the final text, images and links.
Every package includes a responsive layout, clear navigation, page titles and descriptions, image alt text, a link check, source files and a short guide to updating and publishing the site. Choose one, three or five pages within the agreed content limits.
This service covers a static portfolio. Domain and hosting fees, paid assets, content writing, online shops, logins, databases and CMS dashboards are outside the packages.

I am Syed Adnan Haider, a research scientist with an M.Phil. in Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering and first-author papers in Archives of Virology and Journal of Virological Methods. I also contribute public preprint reviews on PREreview. I clean research data, create charts, proofread completed manuscripts and organize R or Python scripts. I build personal and academic portfolio websites; my own site is a working example. My portfolio includes public code, traceable data changes and editing samples. What kind of website will you build?
A custom static portfolio using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It can show your biography, projects, publications, experience, qualifications and CV. It does not include WordPress, a CMS dashboard, user accounts, a database or an online shop.
What are the page and content limits?
Basic: 1 page, 500 supplied words, 10 images and 5 project/publication entries. Standard: 3 pages, 1,200 words, 15 images and 15 entries. Premium: 5 pages, 2,000 words, 20 images and 25 entries. Limits are totals. Each page has up to 5 sections.
Are hosting and a domain included?
You arrange and pay for your domain and hosting. I provide deployment instructions and guidance for one agreed static hosting provider. Please discuss your provider before ordering. Never send passwords or private keys in your brief.
Can I update the website myself?
You receive the HTML, CSS and JavaScript source files plus a short editing guide. Updating the site requires basic file editing. A dashboard or no-code content editor is outside this service.
Will the website work on phones and appear on Google?
I check the agreed pages at desktop and mobile widths and add page titles, descriptions and image alt text. These are basic setup measures. Search indexing, rankings, traffic and leads are not guaranteed.
What does a revision cover?
One round covers a consolidated list of layout, colour, spacing and minor supplied-content changes within the agreed pages. New pages, major replacement content or a new design direction need a separate quote. Packages include 1, 2 or 2 rounds.
