About this Gig

Hello all, my name is Connor and I am a solo indie game developer, who also loves creative writing as it is a part of every week in my life. I initially decided to create this service as I reflected on all my years of writing stories, narratives and more for my own games and inspirations I've gained in it so far.
My goal here is to provide my customers with an astronomical story, gameplay outline or even world lore to help video game developers who struggle with creating driving, creative storylines or writings for their game projects.
Packages here, are ranged from standard word count, and what they offer for each, which are incremental in offerings per order price.
Things to consider before ordering;
- Writing is in English only.
- Also includes GDD writing.
- Read the FAQ, and fill out the order requirements carefully.
- I'll never, ever require any more info than you wish to provide for this gig, it is a creative writing service, and my goal is to just give you the best and help you the most possible with you game project's narrative / story!

Do you write in other languages?
No, I do not. English only for now.
What if my story is above or below the maximum word count offered?
If your story ends up being below your maximum word count for your chosen package, that is perfectly fine of course. Should it end up being above the maximum word count listed on our packages we will discuss accordingly.
What If I don't know how many words I'm wanting upon reaching out to you?
That is fine, if you're unsure, I'll always walk you through that per an evaluation where we discuss your end goals for the writing material, and I'll hook you up with the best available package according to your needs, even if it's custom.
What are your rates for your writing your services?
By word count and sometimes page count if applicable. Word count is the standard measure of rates for writers though of course, and mine sits at about the standard for freelance creative writers and can go from $0.25 per word up to rates of $0.50+ depending on the project.
Will you write an entire book for my game?
No. I'm afraid even though I can type quite fast and put words together well, I'm still not a typewriter yet, sorry.
Will you do creative writing outside of video games here?
Yes, and no. While this gig is centered around the creative writing medium of video games, it's not always limited to just games. I'll almost always here you out firsthand anyways, as long as I can recognize the scope and goal at hand properly first.
What can you write for video games?
Anything. From stories, to characters, factions, gameplay designs, lore and beyond.
What genres do you write for in this medium?
I can write inside of pretty much any genre, granted its something I can understand; but I have mostly written fantasy, sci-fi, post-apocalyptic and fictional-historic influenced writings or stories for my own projects.
What if I have written before also, and want a particular writing format?
That is perfectly fine, just let me know and if it's something I can easily follow with creative writing, I'd try my very best to follow it.
