About this gig
My goal is to build & design professional websites that are formatted for every device for my clients. Most designers simply check the design on a desktop and their mobile phone without any regard to everything in between. I prefer to drag the browser window to shrink the width of the website to ensure that every element snaps into place as it should.
Every website will have the following plugins installed and configured:
- All In One WP Security & Firewall - My go-to security plugin. It offers many great features and protection against hackers and brute force attacks. There are many WordPress websites that leave the default login page (ex. www.domain.com/wp-login.php) which is an easy target for would-be attackers. I rename this login page to something unique that you and only your associates will know.
- Yoast SEO - The #1 WordPress plugin for SEO. It helps to determine the best on-page SEO factors as well as the readability of every page. In my opinion, readability is just as important as keyword optimization and is what keeps visitors on your site instead of looking for competitors.

I've been designing websites in WordPress for over a decade now. My clients include lawyers, contractors, doctors, and other high profile occupations. I also actively blog on both a personal and professional level.
FAQ
How am I (the client) involved in the design process?
I've created a form to fill out that will guide you through providing the necessary information. The first question asks the level of involvement and YOU decide how integrated you'd like to be in the project. Some people are more hands-off, others want more detail. The choice is yours.
Do I need to supply my own content?
Yes. In order to provide fast delivery content for every page should be provided in a Word Document. There are many talented copywriters on Fiverr or I can suggest a reputable outside service.
Will you create a logo for my business?
Unfortunately, due to time constraints, that is something I do not offer. However, there are many designers on Fiverr who can create a stunning logo for you in no time. In fact, I've purchased gigs on multiple occasions from them myself!
What about images for the website?
I always advise my clients to supply their own images showing photos of their staff, service, and location. It conveys a much more personal message than a stock photo. However, if you would like to provide stock photos you absolutely can. If you'd like, I can search for free stock photos too.
Will you install the website on my webhost?
Absolutely! Whatever host you choose should have at minimum PHP 7+ and the ability to create MySQL databases. I will set up the DNS linking your domain to your new website. I can provide suggestions for reliable and affordable hosting.
What about the website theme?
If you'd like to purchase a premium theme for me to work within, you may do so. Depending on how many features the theme has, performance may be affected. There are plenty of free themes but I have several excellent premium themes that I can also suggest you purchase.
Will you install an SSL Certificate on my website?
Yes, If you purchase an SSL certificate from your host I can install it. If you want a free SSL certificate, Let's Encrypt is a great option and I can install that too. However, those certificates expire in 3 months and need to be renewed/updated. Regardless you should definitely have SSL installed
After the website is built and order complete will you provide support?
If there is a technical issue with the website and wasn't the result of work by another designer or developer, I will certainly help. WordPress is a very stable platform at the core and shouldn't encounter any issues on its own. If there are, I'll take a look and fix them :)
