Will I still be able to use the WordPress dashboard?
No. Your new site is built entirely in Next.js and React with no PHP, so it no longer runs on WordPress and there is no WP admin. That’s what removes plugin bloat and many common WordPress security risks. If you want an easy dashboard to edit content yourself, I can add a CMS (Sanity or Payload).
How will I update my content after the conversion?
Three options: add a CMS (included in the Growth package, or as an extra), send me your changes and I update the site for you, or I give you simple documentation for editing text and images in the code.
What happens to my WordPress content and my old site?
I migrate your pages, posts, images, menus and SEO data. Keep your old site live until the new one is tested and launched, then cancel your old hosting.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
I keep your URLs where possible and set up 301 redirects for any that change, plus meta tags, schema and a sitemap, so search engines can transition smoothly.
What about my plugins (forms, sliders, SEO, etc.)?
WordPress plugins don’t work in Next.js, so I rebuild the features you need in React. For online stores or membership sites, message me before ordering so I can confirm the scope.
Where will the site be hosted, and what does it cost?
On Vercel or Netlify. Their free tiers cover most small sites, and your domain stays yours.
