FAQ
Are you QuickBooks Online, and Xero certified?
Of course, I am a certified ProAdvisor of QuickBooks Online and an Advisor of Xero.
Are you familiar with Generally Accepted Accounting Principle (GAAP)?
Yes, As I am both a business graduate and a post-graduate, during my B.B.A and M.B.A., I practiced in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and still applying.
What information do you need to perform a bookkeeping job?
At first, I need accounting firm access to QuickBooks Online & Xero, after that, I need the bank statements, credit card statements, and loan statements in CSV file as well as all purchase & sales data in the right format. The requirement may vary from client to client's business nature & workflow.
Without knowing my business and workflow, can you categorize expenses and income?
Yes, I usually categorize based on the description of the bank/credit card statements. But I don’t wholly rely on the artificial intelligence of QuickBooks Online & Xero, rather I prepare an Excel queries sheet and will deliver you to know about the purpose of the transactions if necessary.
Why will I be asked to give you QuickBooks Online & Xero access before placing an order?
At first, I myself make sure that the client’s books are ready for the work where I am asked for. If I find discrepancies in the books which need to be rectified before I start my job. I point out those. If the client agrees to rectify them, I forward and start my job.
Can you tell me the way of giving access to my QuickBooks Online or Xero?
First, you have to log in QuickBooks online account, then go to “Gear Icon” from the top of the right corner -> “Manage Users” ->” Accounting Firms” -> “Invite”. Also, you have to give at least “Standard or Admin” access by adding a user from the setting of your login QuickBooks Online account.
Why do you need pdf statements although my bank or credit card account is connected to QuickBooks Online?
Due to cross-checking transactions with QuickBooks Online or Xero register, reconciliation, and adjusting PayPal or Stripe appropriately, I need pdf statements.
Are you available for a long-term relationship?
Sure, why not. I am always available for monthly and long-term bookkeeping as per your requirement.
What will be your step if you don’t know the work?
Without knowing the working nature and looking into the client’s book, I don’t take an order. If I can’t do the work, I straightly say sorry without wasting the client’s time.
What’s your time zone?
My time zone is GMT+6. But, for interaction, I always try to schedule time as per the client’s convenience.
