Akari began her dance training in cheer dance and ballet before specializing in contemporary and jazz dance. She competed in the national cheer dance finals and performed at basketball halftime shows and dance festivals. She completed two years of training at Broadway Dance Center in New York and holds a dance teaching license.
She now works in Japan as a performer, dance instructor, and choreographer.
Akari is also a Japanese language teacher with over 2,000 online lessons taught. She has helped many students pass the JLPT N5 and N4 exams and mainly teaches conversational Japanese.
