I work as a freelance 3D CAD and mold designer specializing in ceramic products, pottery, slip casting, plaster molds, and manufacturing-ready 3D models. My experience covers the development of custom mugs, cups, bowls, vases, planters, jugs, bottles, plates, decorative ceramics, and other functional or artistic products. I helped the company I worked for develop 3D models and custom mold designs for ceramic, pottery, and other manufactured products. My work involved turning product ideas, sketches, measurements, and reference images into accurate and practical 3D CAD models that could be used for prototyping and production. I helped design a wide range of ceramic products, including mugs, cups, bowls, plates, vases, planters, jugs, bottles, and other custom-shaped vessels. I also assisted with the development of plaster molds and slip-casting molds, making sure the designs were suitable for the intended manufacturing process. I worked on multi-part mold designs, including parting lines, alignment features, mold separation, and other details needed to make the molds practical to produce and use. I also helped maintain consistent wall thickness and internal geometry when creating hollow ceramic products. Another part of my work was preparing and refining 3D models for different manufacturing methods, including 3D printing, CNC machining, mold production, and ceramic casting. I helped prepare files in formats such as STL, STEP, IGES, and other CAD formats depending on the project requirements. I also helped review existing designs and make improvements to their dimensions, proportions, geometry, and overall manufacturability. When a design needed changes, I worked from client or company feedback to make the required adjustments while maintaining the original concept. Through this experience, I developed strong practical knowledge of 3D CAD modeling, ceramic product design, mold development, slip casting, plaster mold construction, and manufacturing requirements.
