FAQ
What is an enamel pin?
An enamel pin is a small, decorative accessory made of metal with colored enamel filling. It often features unique designs, logos, or artwork.
How are enamel pins made?
Enamel pins are made through a process called "enameling." Metal outlines are stamped, filled with enamel colors, and then baked at high temperatures. This creates a durable and vibrant finished pin.
What is the typical size of an enamel pin?
Enamel pins come in various sizes, typically ranging from around 0.75 inches (2 cm) to 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) in width. However, the size can be customized based on your specific requirements.
How long does it take to produce enamel pins?
The production time for enamel pins depends on factors like design complexity, order quantity, and the manufacturer's workload. It can range from a few weeks to a couple of months. It's best to inquire with the manufacturer for a more accurate estimate.
What file format should I provide for the pin design?
Most manufacturers accept design files in vector formats such as AI, PDF, EPS, or SVG. These formats allow for easy scalability without compromising the quality of the design.
Can I sell enamel pins online or in retail stores?
Yes, enamel pins are popular items for online and retail sales. They have a dedicated collector base, and many individuals and businesses successfully sell enamel pins through their own websites, online marketplaces, or physical stores.
