He graduated from EMESP Tom Jobim in Popular Percussion, the University of São Paulo in Music Education, and holds a postgraduate degree in Brazilian percussion from Santa Marcelina. His career spans a wide range of music genres, from samba schools to performances in large concert halls with orchestras.
