Do I need my own API key from OpenAI or another LLM provider?
Yes. Usage is billed directly to your OpenAI account, so you stay in full control of costs. I can help you set up the key, and other providers can be used on request.
Will I get the source code?

Can the chatbot read scanned PDFs?
Scanned PDFs need OCR (text recognition) first. Please message me before ordering so I can check your files.
Can I add new documents later?
Yes. The Standard and Premium packages include a way to add and re-index new documents.
Is my data kept private?
Your documents are used only for your project. With Chroma, the vector database can run on your own server. Document text is sent to the LLM provider you choose to generate answers.
Can you add the chatbot to my website?
The Premium package includes a React chat interface. Embedding it in an existing website can be discussed before ordering.
