About this gig
A WordPress migration is the kind of job where nothing should happen. Same site, same content, same addresses, new server. If your visitors notice anything, the migration went wrong.
MIGRATION is done within 24 hours. I copy the files and the database, rebuild the site on the new host, test every page and every form, then switch the DNS. Your old site stays online until the new one is confirmed working.
CLONE is how I clone a WordPress website to a different address: a staging copy to test on, a second site built from the first, or a handover to a new owner. The settings people forget, like email sending and permalinks, come along too.
FULL TRANSFER is the whole move: hosting chosen and configured with you, migration, SSL, professional email addresses, scheduled backups, caching and basic hardening. The old site is kept for 30 days in case you need something back.
Every job starts with a full WordPress backup you get a copy of. If anything goes sideways, we go back in minutes.
Not sure which option you need? Message me first with where the site is now and where it is going. If you would rather order straight away, that works too.

FAQ
Will my site be offline during the move?
No. The new server is built and tested before the DNS is switched, and the old site stays up until then.
Do I lose my emails?
Not if you tell me you have email on the domain. Email is the thing people forget, and it is why I ask before starting.
Can you move from Wix or Squarespace to WordPress?
That is a rebuild, not a migration, because the platforms do not share a format. Message me and I will quote it.
What about SEO after the move?
Same URLs, same content, redirects in place. Rankings do not move if the migration is done properly.
Can you just make me a staging copy?
Yes, that is the CLONE package. You get a test copy where you can break things safely.
