I accept AI (Adobe Illustrator native files) and DXF (AAMA/ASTM standards). If your file is in another format, please contact me first to confirm compatibility.
What formats can I receive the final graded pattern in?
I can deliver your pattern in AI, DXF, DXF with RUL, PDF, PLT, or GERBER. You can choose any two formats for delivery.
Can you grade a pattern that hasn't been checked for accuracy?
The base gig assumes your pattern is already clean, accurate, and ready for grading. If you’d like me to audit and correct the pattern before grading, please select the gig extra or message me for a custom quote.
Do you work with hand-drawn or scanned patterns?
No, this service is for digital patterns only. However, you can contact me first and I’ll let you know if I can help convert your file.
What is included in the base price?
The base price includes grading your pattern into the specified number of sizes using your digital file. It does not include pattern corrections or audits.
How many sizes can I get with the base gig?
The number of sizes depends on the gig package. If you need more sizes, just reach out and I’ll provide a custom quote.
What is “DXF with RUL”?
This is a DXF file with ruler information included, often required for automated production systems.
Can I request grading for plus-size or petite ranges?
Yes! I grade for all women’s sizing ranges, including plus-size and petite, as long as you provide the required measurements or size chart.
Can you help me create a size chart?
While it's not included in the standard gig, I can assist with size chart creation as an add-on service. Please message me for more details.
Do I need to contact you before placing an order?
