Worked directly with an independent fiction author on *The Ranch*, providing in-depth beta reading and manuscript editing throughout the revision process. My work includes evaluating the manuscript from a reader's perspective, identifying areas that affect pacing, character development, emotional impact, plot progression, dialogue, consistency, and overall reader engagement. I also provide detailed developmental feedback to help strengthen the story while preserving the author's voice and creative direction. In addition to beta reading, I am working on the manuscript at the line-editing and developmental-editing levels, identifying opportunities to improve clarity, flow, characterization, scene structure, and overall readability. This experience has allowed me to work closely with an author through multiple stages of the revision process, combining reader-focused feedback with detailed editorial analysis.
