I'm a publishing professional with over 8+ years in the industry, both on the publisher and agency side. I currently work in the marketing department of a major Big Five publishing house!
I will leave questions and comments throughout the document as well as providing a full reader's report.
Commonly, I answer questions about pacing, character development, dialogue, continuity...etc, but also love to receive a list of questions from the writer in advance specifying anything they want me to look out for.
I read across a variety of genres, but have a special place in my heart for contemporary romance, voice-y literary fiction, thrillers, and dystopian novels. At my day job, I work mostly on romance, romantasy, upmarket fiction, and nonfiction.
I will never upload your work to AI or use any AI tools when completing my feedback.
