About this Gig
I have worked on openstack for 13+ years now starting from Icehouse release to the latest Ussuri release. Below are some of the things I have worked upon in openstack space:
- Installation of Openstack for POC or Data-centre level size
- Automation of application deployment using HEAT and related projects.
- Installation of Openstack using Maas and Juju
- Setting up CEPH clusters to replace SWIFT and Cinder completely.
- Worked on all major projects of openstack like nova, neutron, heat, cinder, swift, glance, ceilometer, gnocchi, telemetry, etc.
- Worked on auto-scaling (scale-out/in) of application VMs based on threshold mechanism (load based)
- Worked on Rackspace openstack variant as well to setup telecom grade application.
- Automated provisioning using python APIs of various projects of openstack.
I have explored a lot in openstack and am confident of taking up any task in that space.
