I will audit website accessibility fix wcag ada and section 508 compliance
WordPress Accessibility and WCAG Improvements
About this Gig
I provide website accessibility testing for WordPress, Wix, and Shopify, helping businesses and developers identify barriers and plan practical fixes.
Your audit combines automated checks with manual testing of agreed pages and features against WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA criteria. For ADA or Section 508 projects, share your requirements so we can confirm the relevant technical scope.
Checks include:
- Keyboard navigation, focus order, and visible focus
- Screen reader access to agreed content and controls
- Color contrast, text resizing, and page reflow
- Image alternatives, headings, and reading order
- Form labels, instructions, and error messages
- Link purpose, button names, and ARIA usage
You receive a report with affected URLs, issue descriptions, relevant WCAG criteria, screenshots where useful, severity, and recommended fixes. The report also records testing methods, environments, and limitations.
This gig covers testing and reporting. Implementation and retesting require an agreed scope. Findings support accessibility work, not legal certification.
Message me with your URL, page count, and required standard to confirm the right package.

FAQ
What is included in your website accessibility testing?
I review agreed pages and features using automated checks and manual testing. The scope includes keyboard access, screen reader behavior, contrast, headings, image alternatives, forms, links, and controls. Your report explains identified barriers and recommended fixes.
Can you test WordPress, Wix, AI website, HTML and Shopify websites?
Yes. I test the visitor experience on WordPress, Wix, and Shopify AI website and HTML websites. Please share your URL and identify any forms, menus, product pages, or other features you want included.
Which WCAG version do you test against?
The default target is WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA. If your organization or contract specifies another version, please share it before ordering. Your report will identify the standard, criteria, and scope used
Can this audit support ADA and Section 508 compliance work?
Yes. The findings can support technical accessibility improvements and documentation. Please provide any applicable project or procurement requirements so the assessment can use the appropriate scope.
What will the accessibility report contain?
The report identifies reviewed URLs, testing environments, findings, user impact, severity, relevant WCAG criteria, and practical recommendations. Screenshots and reproduction steps are included where useful. Limitations and untested areas are documented.
Can you test a complete checkout or registration process?
Yes, subject to an agreed scope and suitable test access. Please identify the full process before ordering so every necessary step, interaction, and error state can be included in the assessment.
Does a passing automated scan mean my website is accessible?
No. Automated tools detect some accessibility issues, but manual evaluation is needed to assess other barriers. My report distinguishes automated findings from manual testing results.
Do you provide a VPAT or Accessibility Conformance Report?
These packages provide an accessibility findings report. A formal Accessibility Conformance Report using a VPAT template is a separate deliverable and must be specifically agreed before ordering.
What counts as a revision or retest?
A report revision addresses corrections or clarification within the original scope. A retest checks previously reported issues after repairs. New pages, redesigned features, and additional testing environments require a separate agreement.
