About me
I love genealogy, research, and following the roots of our ancestor's trails. I gained research skills through graduate studies, and am tenacious, compassionate, and resourceful in finding answers across a wide range of sources. I dabbled in our family history for decades, but took a deeper dive into genealogy research over the past 8 years, finding fascinating stories, surprising histories, and unexpected connections. Since the creation of Ancestry Trails in 2023, my focus has been on the grey literature, the unpublished sources and connecting the oral histories of local people.
