I offer thoughtful, author-focused developmental editing for novels, novellas, and longer works of fiction. Rather than concentrating on grammar or individual sentences, I'll look at the bigger picture: plot, pacing, characterization, structure, emotional arcs, stakes, continuity, worldbuilding, and the overall reading experience.

My goal is to understand the story YOU want to tell, and to help you tell it more effectively.

With every package, you will receive detailed editorial feedback, in-line comments, and actionable suggestions for revision. I'll point out what needs work, sure, but I'll also make sure to tell you what's already working to carry through future revisions.

I especially love horror, fantasy, romance, dark academia, and speculative fiction, but all fiction genres are welcome.
