Grammar Review - Basic proofreading
- Correct grammatical errors, including Punctuation, Spelling, Consistency, Syntax, and typographical errors.
In-line Editing - Sentence-level refinement
- Ensure consistent and suitable tone and voice
- Enhance sentence readability, eliminate redundancy, and improve word selection.
- Trim redundant, clichés, unnecessary and extraneous words and Franken paragraphs.
- Rearrange sentences and paragraphs for improved flow.
- Create transitions to connect sentences and paragraphs naturally.
Developmental Editing - Considers the draft's overall structure, content, pacing, and narrative
- Move, add, or delete sections and chapters for coherence.
- Clearly express your key idea and give every paragraph a unique idea.
- Break content into consumable sections/chapters, headings, and subheadings.

It depends on your manuscript length, the level of editing needed, and whether you've added services like formatting or publishing support. Timelines shown in the packages are for first delivery within the agreed scope. Revisions may extend the timeline depending on the feedback.
What if my manuscript is longer than your listed packages?

Can I see an example of your work?

What format should my document be in?
I work in MS Word (.docx) or Google Docs with editing access enabled. This lets me track every change so you can review, accept, or reject edits before finalizing your manuscript. Avoid PDFs as they are not editable and require conversion, which can introduce text errors and delay the project.
My manuscript is AI-assisted or AI-generated. Can you still help?
Yes. I can review, rewrite, and refine AI-generated content to give it a natural human voice, fix structural issues, and make it publish-ready. Message me with your project details and I'll let you know the best approach.
What differentiates your service packages?
All packages include the same editing scope. The only difference is manuscript length. Basic is for shorter works, Standard for mid-length, and Premium for full manuscripts. Message me if you're unsure which fits or you need a custom offer for a longer manuscript.
How will I get to know what you edited?
You receive two versions of your manuscript. 1. A tracked changes copy showing exactly where and what was edited so you can review, accept, or reject changes before finalizing. 2. A clean copy with all revisions incorporated.
