Responsibilities: Responsible for the design and development of electrical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects, including medium-voltage transformer sizing and low-voltage power distribution systems. Carry out electrical load calculations, voltage drop calculations, short-circuit analysis, and preparation of comprehensive panel schedules. Develop and review Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), Riser diagrams, lightning protection layouts, earthing drawings, and detailed design drawings using AutoCAD for lighting, power, industrial power distribution, and low current services, including fire alarm, CCTV, data, telephone, access control, and public address systems. Prepare tender and construction documentation, including conduit layouts, cable schedules, installation details, and technical specifications in accordance with project requirements and International standards. Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and detailed electrical cost estimations for materials, equipment, and Installation works to support tendering and project budgeting processes. Select and specify low-tension (LT) switchgear and distribution panels, including MDB, SMDB, LPDB, MCC, and APFC panels, ensuring compliance with international codes and industrial standards. Apply practical knowledge of cable tray systems (ladder and perforated types) to optimize routing and efficiently install electrical systems. Coordinate and liaise with clients, contractors, architects, and multidisciplinary MEP consultants to ensure effective design integration, technical coordination, and successful project delivery. Conduct site inspections.
