What does "verbatim transcription" mean?
If not suggested otherwise by you, I will transcribe the page "as is". I will not alter the German spelling or grammar even if it should be faulty or incorrect. I will transcribe crossed out words or sections if this can be achieved without too much effort.
I've come across this mixed Latin-German entry in a church book, do you do these as well?
Yes. My latin skill is sufficient for retrieving the information you need for your genealogical research from these entries.
The document I'm interested in is sprinkled with abbreviations. You can resolve those, right?
There are a lot of standardised abbreviations in old German documents. Most of them I know and will resolve for you automatically. Abbreviations I do not know, because I'm not an expert on the field of their usage (i.e. military code etc.) I will keep as in the original.
