Staff Research and Development Design

I was a Research and Development Designer when I first started working and received training in sandal and footwear design. I then created a SPECIFICATION SHEET for each concept design, digital sandal design, and concept submission to the manager. I then designed all the material and color components, including delving into each color code, material code, and process, and then prototyped them to determine the level of production difficulty. The prototype, from sewing and gluing, and other processes, facilitated mass production. Once the prototype was complete, I then proceeded to the sample stage, creating three colorways to ensure they were suitable for production. Once the prototype was complete, I went through the QC stage and durability testing to ensure they were truly good. I then attended monthly meetings to present each sample I created. Once approved and selected, I created the production components, including all sizes. I then began creating the yellow plate sections for each foot size series and ensured that all mall patterns had their own section. I only ensured the mall fit and tested the fit for all sizes 38-43 (depending on the child, teen, or adult foot segment). Then I went to production to report on the process and ensured that everything was running correctly and that the quality was good. I create samples that are approved at least once a month, with 3 to 8 collections each month that I have to submit.
