every change, so you can check the result rather than trust it.
A worked example from my portfolio: 457 rows in, 420 out, and all 37 that
went are accounted for - 34 duplicates and 3 blanks, each on a changes tab
with its own count. Totals that disagreed with quantity x price were
recalculated and the originals flagged in red, not overwritten.
Excel cleaning, CSV merging and Google Sheets tidy-ups:

Is this data entry? Can you type my data in from scans or PDFs?
No - I don't key data in by hand. This gig cleans, merges and restructures files you already have. If you need thousands of rows typed up from scans, that's a different service and I'll say so rather than take it.
How big a file can you handle?
Any size. Excel gives up around a million rows; I work in Python, which has no limit. The packages cap at 10,000 rows only because the form makes me pick a number - if yours is bigger, message me and I'll send a custom offer at the same rate.
Will you change my data without telling me?
Never silently. Every delivery includes a note listing what changed and how many rows each fix touched. Anything I can't clean confidently is flagged in its own tab rather than guessed at, so you can decide.
My file has confidential data in it. Is that a problem?
No. I don't reuse, publish or share client data. Send a sample with the sensitive columns removed if you'd rather - the cleanup rules are the same either way. I delete my copy once you accept.
The same messy export lands every week. Can you stop that?
