About me
I'm a product designer who also writes the front-end. The same person does the Figma and the code, so what you approve in the mockup is what ends up in the browser.
Five years designing operations software for airlines and large enterprises: electronic logbooks used on tablets in the hangar, a pre-flight app for pilots, incident tools, dense dashboards. I built the design system and wrote the React and Next.js myself.
I also run Alder Themes: Astro and Tailwind website templates for restaurants, hotels and clinics.

Joined as the first and only designer: ran every product line solo for three years, then grew the team to three. Built the design function from scratch, including research processes, the company-wide design system, and QA handoff standards. The work is operations software for airlines and large enterprise groups: an electronic logbook used by maintenance crews on tablets in the hangar, a pre-flight app for pilots, incident management tools, and dashboards with a lot of data on them. I did the field research in hangars, ops centres and cockpits, presented the decisions to the client, and wrote the React, Next.js and Tailwind front-end myself when the engineers needed it.
