I am Arslan, a seasoned professional in the field of accounting and bookkeeping. This Gig centers around the task of importing and migrating data to various accounting software platforms such as QB Online, Xero, Wave, ZohoBooks, NetSuite, and Odoo, regardless of the software being utilized.
To ensure a seamless process, I will require the following information from you:
Bank Statements (PDF, CSV)
Chart of Accounts in CSV Format
Detailed Ledger Report for Each Account and Trial Balance
Vendor and Customer Data in CSV Format
Invoices in CSV Format
Access to the Accounting Application
My Approach:
Here is a step-by-step outline of my approach:
Import the Chart of Accounts from the previous system.
Proceed with importing invoices and bank statement transactions.
Methodically categorize transactions into their respective categories.
Allocate invoices for AR & AP.
Perform meticulous reconciliation of all accounts,
Upon completion, generate and deliver financial statements, including Profit and Loss (PNL) and Balance Sheets.

I will begin by importing all data into the new system. After this, I will provide you with a list of queries regarding the accurate categorization of transactions. Following this, I will proceed with the process of cleaning up the accounts and reconciliations.
Is access to both accounting software platforms required?
Yes, I would require access to the latest software where the data transfer is needed. If access to the old software is not possible, you can generate the necessary reports from the old software and provide me with the reports as outlined in the Gig description.
What is your timezone, and are you available during my timezone if there are any questions?
Yes, I will be available. I am a full-time freelancer, and my time zone is GMT+5.
